Servers that are unmetered and dedicated mean you get a server that has absolutely no limitation on your monthly bandwidth usage.  What is bandwidth – that is the data amount that transfers to and from to the internet by your server. Your dedicated service is connected to the network with a port speed that is set and you will have total access to use as much or as little bandwidth on that port as you need. Unlike servers that are conventional usually having a cap of 10TB of bandwidth on a 1Gbps port, unmetered servers allow you to use as much bandwidth as you need for your website offering you an improved hosting capability.

    Getting started

If you are just starting up a new business website it is wise to find a cheap 1Gbps dedicated server unmetered for your hosting plan. This is the best that a new business can do to ensure they are getting the best bandwidth to and from the internet so they are having no problems with visitors to their website.

    Reasons why

There are plenty of reasons why you need to look for a dedicated host offering unmetered servers. The most common is to prevent fees on bandwidth overage. With the traditional metered dedicated hosting, you have to be aware of the bandwidth amount so you can avoid paying any extra fees for bandwidth. But with an unmetered host this allows you to have the amount of bandwidth you need especially if you are streaming video, hosting games, or needing to host an exceptionally large website.

    Difference between unlimited and unmetered

You need to understand the difference between unmetered and unlimited – actually there is no such thing as servers with unlimited bandwidth. There is constantly a constraint that is finite for the amount of bandwidth a server connection can process. Any hosting provider offering to sell you an “unlimited bandwidth dedicated server” is actually selling a service that they cannot possibly provide. Unmetered merely means that they do not monitor on the amount of bandwidth you are using or shutting off the server when you reach a number amount of bandwidth being used.
